油條

There’s very little to say about good 油條. You just eat it. It sits very humbly outside the bare breakfast stall in Taipei, only one or two feet away from passerbys. It’s only a piece of dough, after all. But mighty are those who can turn such little strips of dough into hot, golden, fragrant wands of mouthwatering flavour and crispy goodness.
